Teachers and Students Reunite After 34 Years: Mangesh Vidya Mandir’s 1992 Batch Holds Grand Reunion in Malad

Mumbai : The alumni and teachers of the 1992 SSC batch of Mangesh Vidya Mandir School, Malad East, came together for a memorable reunion held on Sunday, June 14, at Aaswad CWC Banquet, Malad West. The event witnessed an emotional gathering as classmates and their beloved teachers reunited after 34 years, rekindling cherished memories of their school days.

The reunion, held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., featured a special felicitation ceremony in which former students honoured their teachers with shawls and mementoes as a mark of gratitude and respect. Among those present were Shravan Dhande Sir, Ashok Patole Sir, Sunil Lembhe Sir, Nandkishore Sarule Sir, Ramesh Thakur Sir, Baburao Bhirud Sir, Bhavana Bawkar Madam, Shyamal Dixit Madam, Meenal Kale Madam and Kanchan Prabhu Madam.

Expressing their emotions, the teachers said, “The achievements of our students in various walks of life are our greatest reward and the true Guru Dakshina.”

The day began with a prayer and was followed by nostalgic conversations, sharing of memories, group photographs, selfies and a fellowship lunch. The reunion concluded on a happy note with everyone promising to meet again soon.
