Pune: Tech Mahindra (NSE: TECHM), a leading global provider of technology consulting and digital solutions to enterprises across industries, announced that it has been recognized as one of the World’s Most Sustainable Companies of 2026 by TIME magazine in partnership with data firm, Statista. Tech Mahindra secured the #1 position among Indian companies and was ranked #20 globally, underscoring its continued commitment to embedding sustainability across its operations, solutions and business strategy.
To recognize corporations that prioritize sustainability in their business practices, TIME Magazine and Statista partnered on the third annual edition of the World’s Most Sustainable Companies ranking. The assessment began with a pool of more than 5,000 of the world’s largest and most influential companies, evaluated on factors such as revenue, market capitalization, and public prominence. The methodology included a rigorous four-step process: Exclusion of Non-Sustainable Businesses, Commitment & Ratings, Reporting & Transparency, and Environmental & Social Stewardship. Following a comprehensive evaluation based on more than 20 key performance indicators, the top 750 companies were included in the final ranking.
This recognition by TIME and Statista reflects Tech Mahindra’s continued progress in advancing its sustainability agenda and commitment to achieving its environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals. The Company continues to pursue its ambitious sustainability goals, including achieving SBTi-validated net-zero emissions by 2035, while strengthening initiatives focused on renewable energy adoption, energy efficiency, waste reduction, and water stewardship.
