In view of the increased passenger demand, Southern Railway has approved the temporary addition of extra coaches to four pair train services to clear waitlists and facilitate smoother, more comfortable travel for passengers.
- Train No. 16187 Karaikal – Ernakulam Junction Express leaving Karaikal on 21st November 2025 will be augmented with one Sleeper Class coach.
- Train No. 16188 Ernakulam Junction – Karaikal Express leaving Ernakulam Junction on 22nd November 2025 will be augmented with one Sleeper Class coach.
- Train No. 12075 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Kozhikode Janshatabdi Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram Central from 21st to 24th November 2025 will be augmented with One Second Class Sitting (Non AC) coach.
- Train No. 12076 Kozhikode – Thiruvananthapuram Central Janshatabdi Express leaving Kozhikode from 21st to 24th November 2025 will be augmented with one Second Class Sitting (Non AC) coach.
- Train No. 20635 Chennai Egmore – Kollam Junction Ananthapuri Express leaving Chennai Egmore on 24th November 2025 will be augmented with One Sleeper Class coach additionally.
- Train No. 20636 Kollam Junction – Chennai Egmore Ananthapuri Express leaving Kollam Junction on 25th November 2025 will be augmented with One Sleeper Class coach.
- Train No. 22639 MGR Chennai Central – Alappuzha Express leaving MGR Chennai Central from 21st to 24th November 2025 and on 26th November 2025 will be augmented with one Sleeper Class coach.
- Train No. 22640 Alappuzha – MGR Chennai Central Express leaving Alappuzha from 22nd to 25th November 2025 and on 27th November 2025 will be augmented with one Sleeper Class coach.
