Kolkata: The Heritage College, Kolkata, welcomed the 9th Batch of students in the induction and orientation programme ConneXions 2024 which started from 29th July 2024 and ended on 31st July.
The inaugural session of the programme was addressed by Prof. (Dr.) Mamata Ray (Chaudhuri) Former Vice Chairperson, West Bengal State Council of Higher Education as the Chief Guest. CA Sanjib Sanghi, Chairman, Eastern Regional Council for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Mr. Sumit Goyal, President, Patton International Ltd. were the Guests of Honour.
During the inaugural address CA Sanjib Sanghi spoke to the students for being a specialist in today’s world and that the students should follow if they want to be successful in the future. Mr. Sumit Goyal spoke about hardwork and perseverance which are utmost important for one to succeed.
The 3 day induction and orientation programme was also contributed by Mr. Saket Saraogi, Founder SCUBE Tutorials and Career Ambassador, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK , Mr. Joydeep Dasgupta, Editor News Sense, Dr. Anup Sinha, Chief Mentor, Heritage Business School and Non Executive Chairman, Bandhan Bank, Ms. Madiha Mamoojee, TEDx speaker and many more.
There was Talent Hunt Show organized for the students of B.Com (H), B.Sc.(H) and B.A.(H) where students performed in diverse fields. The inaugural session was also contributed by Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Director, The Heritage College, Mr. Probir Roy, Executive Director, Kalyan Bharti Trust, Mr. Pradip Agarwal, Chief Executive Officer, Kalyan Bharti Trust and Prof. K.K.Chaudhuri, Director, Heritage Business School, Kolkata.
