BRAINTREE, NEW BEDFORD, MA: The Peabody Companies , a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms now celebrating its 50th anniversary, was proudly represented in the 12th Annual Dimock Center Road to Wellness 5K Run/2-Mile Walk, held on September 12th in Roxbury, Massachusetts.
As in previous years, The Peabody Companies maintained a strong presence, participating with a 36-person team of employees and family members in support of community health.
The Road to Wellness signature event is a free annual celebration of community, culture, and individuals’ unique journey toward mind, body, and spiritual health. It promotes a community-based approach to wellness through movement and welcomes participants of all fitness levels.
The Dimock Center, located in the heart of Roxbury, is a widely recognized community health center known for its holistic approach to wellness and its deep roots in serving under-resourced communities. Its mission aligns with the same values Peabody upholds across its communities.
The Peabody Companies currently manages 42 residential communities, totaling 2,258 units of affordable housing throughout Roxbury, Dorchester, and Jamaica Plain – all neighborhoods directly served by The Dimock Center.
