This Onam, Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad invites guests to celebrate the spirit of Kerala with an authentic Onam Sadhya, thoughtfully curated by Head Chef Suresh Rajan Pillai. The traditional sit-down feast brings together the rich flavours, cherished recipes and festive traditions of Kerala in a celebration of food, culture and togetherness.
With over a decade of culinary experience, Chef Suresh’s cooking is shaped by his Malaysian heritage, upbringing in Madurai and appreciation for the regional cuisines of South India, including the coastal traditions of Kerala. Known for bringing Indian flavours to the forefront, he has previously curated traditional Onam Sadhyas and immersive South Indian dining experiences at the property. His approach combines a respect for time-honoured recipes with a contemporary understanding of regional cuisine.
The Sadhya will feature an elaborate spread of traditional Kerala specialities, including comforting curries, vegetable preparations, classic accompaniments, pickles and indulgent payasams. Served in the traditional sit-down format, the feast captures the warmth and abundance that make Onam one of Kerala’s most cherished celebrations.
