Anmol Industries Launches Multi-Thematic CSR Initiatives Across Odisha and West Bengal to Drive Holistic Community Development

Delhi: Anmol Industries Limited, a leading name in India’s packaged food sector, has reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility by rolling out three significant community-focused initiatives in the states of Odisha and West Bengal. As part of its CSR agenda for July 2025, the company launched targeted programs aimed at addressing critical issues including malnutrition, access to safe drinking water, and environmental sustainability.

Anmol Industries, in collaboration with the Rajkumari Foundation, launched a Malnutrition Eradication Program with a dedicated workshop event at the Godibari Anganwadi Centre, under Chandaka Gram Panchayat, Bhubaneswar (Rural), in Khordha district. The initiative focuses on enhancing child nutrition through community engagement, awareness-building, and support for Anganwadi systems, aiming to improve health outcomes among young children in the area.

Earlier in the month, the company partnered with MUKTI, a grassroots NGO, to initiate a Community-led Mangrove Plantation Project in Kankandighi village under Mathura-II block, located in the ecologically sensitive Sundarbans region of North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. This project seeks to involve local communities in restoring vital mangrove ecosystems that serve as a natural barrier against coastal erosion and flooding while enhancing biodiversity.

In another impactful move, Anmol Industries, in collaboration with SOLAR, successfully inaugurated and handed over 10 newly constructed iron-removal drinking water plants, providing access to clean and safe drinking water across Puri (6 plants) and Khordha (4 plants) districts in Odisha benifiting7,516 people . The official handover took place at Jagannathprasad village, Andharua Gram Panchayat, Khordha, marking a milestone in improving public health and reducing water-borne diseases in these underserved regions.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Dilip Choudhary – Vice Chairman, Anmol Industries, said: “At Anmol, we believe that businesses must play an active role in creating long-term value for society. Our CSR efforts go beyond compliance—they reflect our belief in building healthier communities and a more resilient environment. Whether it’s combating malnutrition, restoring ecological balance, or ensuring access to safe drinking water, we are proud to contribute meaningfully to the lives of people across regions we serve.”

These initiatives underline Anmol Industries’ long-standing vision of inclusive development and reinforce its commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen. With a focus on sustainable impact and community partnership, the company continues to lead by example in the corporate social responsibility space.
