Assam: Five Bangladeshi nationals to be released, deported today

In Assam, five Bangladeshi nationals, who are currently in detention camps in the state, will be released and deport to their own country today. These Bangladeshi nationals will be released after serving their terms for violating the Passport Act for illegally entering India.

They would be deported via airways instead of roadways this time by the Immigration officials escorted by Border Security Force from Guwahati to Dhaka via Kolkata.

It may be mentioned here that 200 foreign nationals including 180 illegal Bangladeshi immigrants have been deported from Assam in the last two years.
