Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has paid tribute to the chief commander of the first freedom struggle of 1857, the great revolutionary, martyr Tatya Tope on his martyrdom day. CM Shri Chouhan said in a message issued on social media that “Tatya Tope’s unwavering patriotism and valour will always inspire us countrymen.” It is notable that Tatya Tope’s role in the first freedom struggle was important, inspiring and unique. The martyrdom of Tatya Tope, the great patriot and immortal martyr, the best operative of guerrilla war, took place on 18 April 1859.
