The engagement marks a strategic expansion of CSM Technologies’ Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) capabilities, adding foundational digital identity to its growing portfolio of Government Technology (GovTech) solutions. It also strengthens the company’s ability to pursue emerging opportunities in international markets where governments are looking to build secure, scalable and interoperable digital foundations for public service delivery.
MOSIP is an open-source technology framework that enables countries to build and own customised foundational digital identity systems. Its modular and vendor-neutral architecture allows governments to configure identity ecosystems around their specific policy, governance, technology and service-delivery requirements.
For CSM Technologies, the adoption of MOSIP represents an important capability-building initiative. The company’s technical teams have undergone comprehensive training on the platform, building specialised expertise required to design, integrate, customise and implement MOSIP-based identity solutions.

According to the World Bank’s 2026 Global Digital Public Infrastructure Program, 2.9 billion people living primarily in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia still lack digital IDs that can be used for online transactions, highlighting a substantial global gap in trusted digital identity infrastructure.
