In Andhra Pradesh, death toll has risen to 28 in the Sunday’s boat mishap at Devipatnam in East Godavari District.
The rescue operations are still on. The incident occurred when a private boat carrying tourists to the picturesque Papikonda hills capsized in the river flowing at danger mark.
Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has ordered a high-level probe into the mishap.
