This pre-seed round enables us to lay a strong foundation for our innovation-led product pipeline, establish a rigorous R&D and design process, and begin working closely with the emerging tech & manufacturing ecosystem in India. We’re grateful to partner with Sauce VC and a remarkable group of operators and industry leaders as we build a global brand from India.”
Manu Chandra, Managing Partner, Sauce VC, added: “Indian consumers are increasingly prioritising design, quality, and functionality in the products they bring into their homes. EDT sits at the intersection of these shifts, with a deep understanding of modern lifestyle needs and the capability to build globally competitive appliances. This is also one of the largest pre-seed, pre-revenue cheques we’ve written, a reflection of the conviction we have in the opportunity and in the team.
