Goutham Gambhir, a former Cricketer and Member of Parliament, started a movement namely PAANKH to support daughters of GB Road Sex Workers in New Delhi. Gambhir had adopted 25 minor girls under the programme.
“All of us have a right to live with dignity. I am giving opportunities to these girls. They can now live with their dreams. I will ensure their education, health and all the expenses” Gambhir said
PAANKH project is providing all the necessary school- health expenses such as school fees, uniforms, books, food, medicines, counselling fees etc. The project is planning to widen its area by next year onwards. Gambhir requested people to come forward to join with his venture.
