Heritage School with West Bengal Publishers Coordination Committee organized ‘Gallery on Wheels

Kolkata: Students of The Heritage School, Kolkata, organized Pottery, Art and Textile Exhibition ‘Gallery on Wheels’ (Kolkata Tram Art Gallery) in association with West Bengal Publishers Coordination Committee which was inaugurated on 25th January by Mr. Rajanvir Singh Kapur , IAS, MD , WBTC. The exhibition continued for two days i.e.26th and 27th January 2021. The concept was innovative in the city of Kolkata cherishing the Heritage of Bengal. Here the students of The Heritage School  displayed the Arts, Potteries and Textiles made by them in a Tram. The Tram ‘Gallery on Wheels’ moved to designated locations around the city so that people can enjoy the moment cherishing the Heritage of Bengal and of Kolkata in particular.

“Our students have tried and given their best and in our School we inculcate these activities making our students aware of the cultural heritage of Bengal, ” said Ms. Seema Sapru, Principal, The Heritage School. “I am surprised with the innovations our school children have created. All the best to such initiative”, said Shri P. K. Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata.

‘It’s like a literary adda on a tram and the entire work has been done by our students under the guidance of their teachers”, said Ms. Manjari Chatterjee, one of the teachers of the School.
