Mumbai: Hockey India, supported by Coca-Cola India and its foundation Anandana, is hosting the final phase of the National Women’s Hockey League 2024-25 from March 18th to March 28th, 2025, in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Following a successful first phase in April-May 2024, the league continues to provide a platform for India’s top female hockey talent to compete at the highest level.
The first-of-its-kind domestic league offers emerging athletes a chance to compete alongside seasoned names, with the potential to secure a place in the national team. It features the top eight teams from the 14th Hockey India Senior Women National Championship 2024. The participating teams include Hockey Haryana, Hockey Maharashtra, Hockey Jharkhand, Hockey Madhya Pradesh, Hockey Bengal, Hockey Mizoram, Manipur Hockey, and Hockey Association of Odisha.
Aiming to elevate women’s hockey, the National Women’s Hockey League 2024-25 is an extension of Coca-Cola India’s #SheTheDifference campaign, an initiative to celebrate, uplift, and support women. This partnership provides vital resources, including specialized coaching, training equipment, nutritional support, and the organization of camps and tournaments fostering the growth of the sport and empowering female athletes.
