JKLU hosts largest-ever edition of Spardha, draws top sporting talent from universities

Jaipur: JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) successfully organized and concluded Spardha 2026, its flagship inter-university annual sports festival, setting a new benchmark as the largest edition in the university’s history.

The three-day sporting extravaganza witnessed participation from 28 universities and colleges, bringing together over 750 participants and a total of 110 teams, reflecting the growing national footprint of the event.

Spardha 2026 featured a wide range of competitions, including flagship events such as Cricket, Basketball, Football, and Badminton, alongside other engaging formats like Kabaddi, Chess, and E-Sports. The tournament was conducted with a total prize pool of ₹2,00,000, attracting high levels of competition and performance across categories.

Reflecting on the success of the event, Dr. Vijaysekhar Chellabonia, Vice Chancellor, JKLU, remarked, “Spardha reflects our commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals by integrating sports, teamwork, and leadership into the student experience.”

Commending the participants for their outstanding performance, CA. KK Maheshwari Registrar & CFO, JKLU stated, “Spardha 2026 marked a spectacular display of sportsmanship, discipline and teamwork by our youth, setting a new benchmark in sporting excellence at our university.”

In addition to sporting events, the festival offered a vibrant cultural lineup, including music performances, dance showcases, jamming sessions, DJ nights, and film screenings, enhancing the overall participant experience.

Spardha 2026 stands as a testament to JKLU’s continued focus on holistic education, fostering not only academic excellence but also physical well-being, collaboration, and community engagement.
