Guwahati : The army has achieved great success along the Indo-Myanmar border. More than 200 IEds weighing 582 kg have been recovered by 43 Assam Rifles personnel during checking near the border. The army has foiled a major attack plot. According to reports, more than 200 IEds weighing about 582.5 kg have been recovered by 43 Assam Rifles personnel along the Indo-Myanmar border at Moreh in Manipur. According to army intelligence reports, Assam Rifles recovered ammunition from heavy IeDs in Mizoram near Indo-Myanmar border. The action was taken on the basis of special information near Tiu Kai village in Changhai district of Mizoram.
The Command Officer of Assam Rifles said that all arms ammunition has been supplied to the Indian terrorist by the Pakistani ISI. Assam Rifles said the use of such war-like stores could have endangered the lives of innocent people and led to various illegal activities. “This recovery has prevented the loss of precious lives. The recovery involved 200 live rounds, Neogel gelatin’s 98 number and 655 detonators, which could be fully joined by the Pakhstani army and intelligence ISI. Headquarters IGIGAR (East) said, “The allied hill people of Assam Rifles have been counted to fight anti-national activities.
