Kokrajhar: Assam Power, Tourism minister Bimal Borah, in presence of BTR Chief executive member Pramod Boro on Moday inaugurated 33/11 kV, 2×10 MVA APCDL substation constructed under SOPD 2019-20 at Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar.
The substation was constructed at the cost of Rs 3.5 crore.
In his speech the minister said the inauguration of substation at Bodofa Nwgwr will solve the electricity problem like power cut, loadshedding in the area benefitting the local households. He said the state government under chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma is working for all round development and welfare of the people in the state.
Kokrajhar East MLA Lawrence Islary, BTR executive members-Dharma Narayan Das, Arup Kumar Dey were also present on the occasion.
