Mumbai’s Hospitality Heroes Get Food Safety Certification Boost at HRAWI-FSSAI Training

Mumbai: The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI organized FSSAI’s latest Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC) programme at The Unicontinental on August 31st, 2026. The intensive session equipped 47 hospitality professionals from the region with critical food safety expertise, guided by renowned expert Dr V. Pasupathy.

Participants gained hands-on knowledge across key areas including food handling, hygiene protocols, sanitation standards, and waste management—arming them with practical strategies to elevate food safety practices and cement industry best practices in their daily operations.

This training milestone underscores HRAWI’s unwavering commitment to professional excellence. To date, the association has successfully trained and certified 4,065 hospitality professionals through its FoSTaC and FSSAI Management Training Programs. By fostering a robust culture of food safety awareness, HRAWI continues to equip the hospitality workforce with the knowledge and skills essential to maintaining the highest operational standards across the industry.
