Mumbai: Narayana Health SRCC Children’s Hospital, Mumbai  announces the launch of its new child-centric initiative, the ‘Power Champs’ campaign, timed perfectly with Children’s Day. Known for its expertise and compassionate care in paediatrics, the hospital is elevating its engagement strategy by moving beyond traditional treatment communications to forge a deeper, more relatable emotional connection with young patients and their families.

The Power Champs initiative introduces a vibrant universe of superhero mascots, designed to position the hospital as a trusted and child-loved healthcare destination. This strategic move aims to cut through the category clutter of functional claims (“best doctors,” “advanced technology”) and stand for something children can genuinely connect with—joy, optimism, and strength. By integrating these heroes into the hospital experience, the campaign seeks to make health aspirational.

“The background of this launch stems from a simple insight: every child looks up to a hero,” said Dr. Zubin Pereira, Facility Director, Narayana Health SRCC Children’s Hospital, Mumbai. “In a healthcare setting, this sense of wonder and resilience becomes especially important, particularly when children are battling common illnesses or undergoing treatment. Through our Power Champs—like Aarav the Space Boy, who stands for focus and protection, and Supergirl Ananya, who radiates warmth and hope—we aim to turn fear into confidence and anxiety into courage. These characters are more than mascots; they embody our values of compassion, care, and positivity, helping transform every hospital visit into an inspiring journey toward health and strength.”

The core mission of the Power Champs is to empower children to become protagonists in their own health story, symbolising the proactive steps families can take to build immunity and stay resilient against the cold and flu season. Their presence will bridge clinical excellence with an emotional support system for children and parents alike. The campaign begins with an intensive launch phase packed with engaging activities to bring the Power Champs to life, an interactive **Engagement Zone** featuring Power Champs-themed photo booth located near the play area and other fun activities for kids, including a grand Magic Show. Following this launch, the campaign will transition into a robust sustenance phase aimed at fostering long-term community health.
