In Uttar Pradesh, National Investigation Agency NIA has arrested an arms smuggler Nayeem from Meerut yesterday. Superintendent of Police for rural area in Meerut, Rajesh Kumar told AIR that the wanted Nayeem was arrested from Radhna Village last night.
He said Nayeem is accused of arms supply to terrorist groups. He told NIA sleuths have taken Nayeem with them for further interrogation. The agency several times earlier had raided Nayeem’s premises but failed.
