In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani troops opened unprovoked fire at Indian positions along the Line of Control in Tangdhar sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district last evening.
Defence Spokesperson said that Pakistan initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation along the LoC in Tangdhar by firing mortars and other weapons.
However, a befitting response was given to the Pakistani fire by the Indian Army.
There were no casualties or injuries to anyone when the reports last came in.
