New Delhi : Punjab & Sind Bank celebrated its 119th Foundation Day, commemorating over a century of dedicated service to the nation. The celebrations commenced with the Shri Sukhmani Sahib Path, followed by the launch of several customer-centric digital initiatives and an in-house cultural programme.
The event in New Delhi was graced by Dr. Debashish Prusty, Additional Secretary DFS (MoF), Shri Hari Har Mishra, AS DFS (MoF), and Shri Ashish Madhorao, JS DFS (MoF) along with various guest from NHB, IFCI, LIC, Coal India and other organizations.
The occasion also witnessed the launch of New Vision & Mission Statement, Navjyoti App for HR, Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) services, Digital Gold Loan and PSB Bharat Connect account for Central and State govt employees.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Prusty congratulated the staff on Bank’s 119th Foundation Day and praised the new CBDC initiative & new Navjyoti app for staff. He also shared that Indian Banking sector stands stronger than ever before under the leadership of PM and guidance of FM. He also praised the Bank on registering the highest MSME growth of 30% in banking sector.
Shri Swarup Kumar Saha, MD & CEO Punjab & Sind Bank praised the staff for their dedication and hard work in achieving the historic milestone of Rs.1322 crores Net Profit.
As part of its Foundation Day celebrations, Bank also undertook CSR initiatives across its regional offices, along with tree plantation drives, reinforcing the Bank’s commitment to community welfare and environmental sustainability.
