Cannes : For his latest appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2026, for the premiere of El Ser Querido, Rahi Chadda stepped onto the Croisette in Mithridate by Daniel Fletcher, delivering a look that felt sharp. The centrepiece was a pristine blush-white double-breasted jacket, sharply structured at the shoulder and elongated through the body, worn open over a pearl-toned satin shirt with a fluid finish. A deep burgundy cummerbund sat at the waist, grounding the softness of the ivory tones above with a rich, jewel-like anchor, while slim black trousers kept the lower half clean and precise.

Adding further detail to the look was delicate jewellery by Messika, including a diamond brooch pinned to the lapel alongside rings that elevated the tailoring. Finishing the ensemble was a pair of iconic red bottoms by Christian Louboutin.

The hair was slicked back cleanly, complementing the sharpness of the tailoring, while warm terracotta tones around the eyes added a softer contrast to the overall look. Everything came together in a way that felt polished, contemporary, and distinctly personal to Chadda’s evolving style language.

Over the last few years, Rahi Chadda has emerged as one of South Asia’s most visible luxury fashion voices, recognised for his distinct approach to menswear and his ability to navigate high fashion with a perspective that feels genuinely personal. His continued presence at Cannes marks another significant chapter for South Asian representation on one of the world’s most watched red carpets, within an evolving conversation around men’s dressing that is increasingly making room for nuance, softness, and cultural specificity.

With Daniel Fletcher’s Mithridate bringing a new sharpness and theatricality to contemporary tailoring, Chadda’s choice of the house felt particularly resonant and delivered it with precision.
