Rain brings down mercury in Delhi

Overnight rains in the National Capital that continued till today morning bought down the mercury and led to a significant improvement in the city’s air quality.

The MeT department said, Delhi received 33.5 millimetres of rain since yesterday and recorded a minimum temperature of 12.8 degrees Celsius.

The city’s Air Quality Index, AQI stood at 271 at Noon which falls in the poor category as against 428 yesterday morning.
