Ramraj Cotton Chairman Nagarajan Donates ₹25 Lakh, actor Jayaram donates ₹5 Lakhs to Wayanad Distress Relief funds
Coimbatore: Staying committed to social causes, Ramraj Cotton’s chairman, Mr. K R Nagarajan, donated a cheque worth ₹25 lakhs to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF). Alongside him, the company’s brand ambassador, actor Mr. Jayaram, contributed ₹5 lakhs. The donations were handed over to Kerala Chief Minister Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan in Thrissur on August 4th. The funds are intended to support the victims of the recent landslides that devastated the regions of Mundakkai, Chooralmala, and Meppadi in Wayanad.
In addition to the monetary donation, Ramraj Cotton will also distribute dhotis and shirts worth ₹ 25 lakhs with brand ambassador Jayaram leading the initiative. Jayaram will personally visit the affected areas and distribute the dhotis to local families affected by the recent landslides. This initiative is part of a larger effort by the company to provide immediate relief to those impacted by the recent landslides.

We believe in the strength of coming together and supporting one another during such challenging times. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, and we stand in solidarity with them as they navigate through this difficult period.”
Actor Mr. Jayaram also conveyed his deep sorrow and solidarity, stating,”Ramraj Cotton has a longstanding commitment to supporting communities, and I am proud to stand alongside Chairman Mr. Nagarajan as we present this contribution to the Chief Minister. It is deeply meaningful for me to visit the affected areas in person, meet the victims, and offer our support directly. We hope that our donations will provide some relief and assist in the healing process. Our hearts and prayers are with the people of Wayanad, and we remain steadfast in our support during this difficult time.”
