Restaurant Brands Asia Deepens Commitment to the Armed Forces Community, Extends Support to the Army Central Welfare Fund

Restaurant Brands Asia Ltd. (RBA), master franchisee of restaurant chain Burger King in India, continues to strengthen its association with the Indian Army. The partnership with ACWF began on Republic Day 2026, received an overwhelming response, enabling RBA to contribute over ₹20 lakh in support of the fund.

Encouraged by the response, RBA will now carry this initiative forward as an ongoing tradition, marking it on two significant national occasions each year, Independence Day on 15 August 2026 and Republic Day on 26 January 2027.

Taking this partnership further to the next level, RBA has partnered with the Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO) to create career opportunities for retired Army professionals within the RBA ecosystem. As part of this collaboration, four retired Army professionals have joined RBA (Burger King India) starting 21st July 2026, reflecting the company’s broader commitment to supporting the armed forces community.
