Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh arrived in Riyadh on yesterday for an official bilateral visit to Saudi Arabia. He was warmly received by Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister for International Affairs at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Dr Tariq Al Hamad.
During his visit, which will continue until Tuesday, Singh will hold talks with senior Saudi officials on human resources, skill development, environment, climate change and international affairs. He will also meet Indian workers, business leaders, professionals and members of the Indian community in Saudi Arabia. This is Singh’s first official visit to Saudi Arabia and is aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
