Bhopal :In an appeal to the people of the state, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that vaccination is a campaign to save lives. All must cooperate in the campaign and we should make cent percent efforts to ensure that ‘no one should be left out’. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was inspecting the vaccination center of Manas Udyan located at Gufa Mandir for Vaccination Campaign-4. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also addressed the people present there. Guna-MP Shri K.P. Yadav and former Mayor Shri Alok Sharma and officials were present.
All people of the state must get second dose by December end
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that so far 86 percent of the eligible population of the state has got the first dose of the vaccine. Madhya Pradesh is at number one in the country in administrating the first dose. This has been possible as a result of the cooperation of public representatives, administrative staff and public. Six crore 11 lakh 23 thousand 864 Corona vaccines have been administered in the state. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that by the end of December, all the eligible persons of the state should be given second dose of vaccine to secure their lives.
In Bhopal, all have got first dose of vaccine
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the first dose of the vaccine has been administered to everyone in Bhopal. All the eligible persons available in Bhopal have been vaccinated. Those eligible persons who were out of Bhopal due to some reason and have missed their vaccination should also get vaccinated.
Disabled, senior citizens, pregnant women are also included in the campaign
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that in this vaccination campaign, special care is being taken to vaccinate differently-abled, senior citizens and women. Tow lakh 57 thousand 506 pregnant women have been vaccinated so far in the state. Similarly, 12 thousand 509 doses of vaccine have also been administered to the transgenders.
CM Shri Chouhan expresses gratitude to PM Shri Modi
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, while expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said that he did not allow shortage of vaccine for the Vaccination Maha Abhiyan in the state. The state is grateful to him for this. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that it was only as a result of free vaccine provided by Prime Minister Shri Modi that vaccination of all the poor could be ensured and their commitment to save their lives could be fulfilled.
If there is any problem, vaccination facility should be made available at home
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan appealed to religious leaders, public representatives, members of Crisis Management Committee, social organizations, voluntary organizations to make total efforts to ensure 100 percent vaccination in the state. 100 percent vaccination should be ensured in the state by singling out those who have been left out, urging them, calling them to the center or if there is any problem, by providing the facility of vaccination at their home.
Every person should motivate their family and acquaintances to get vaccinated
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan appealed to the general public to ensure vaccination of their locality, neighbourhood, acquaintances and relatives. Those who are still deprived of vaccination should be encouraged to get the vaccine and those whose second dose is due, should get their second dose vaccinated.
CM Shri Chouhan enquired about the well being of disabled and senior citizens
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inquired about the well being of disabled Krishnakumar Vishwakarma, Ruchi Sharma and Vinod Kumar who came to the vaccination center for vaccination. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also interacted with Smt. Sunita and Smt. Nisha and 99-year-old Smt. Motia Bai, who came for vaccination. Special arrangements were made for the differently-abled, senior citizens and women at the center.
