Irrigation is the basis for increasing production. It is our endeavor to ensure that the entire cultivable land of the state should be irrigated. It is as a result of these efforts that the irrigation potential of the state has increased to 42 lakh hectare. Farmers should get fertilizers and seeds on time, if needed, interest should be available at zero percent. The state government is very sensitive and active towards all such work. Farmers are becoming financially empowered with decisions like PM Samman Nidhi, PM Kisan Maandhan, PM Crop Insurance and increase in support price.
