Nearly 59,419 Indian students are currently studying in Germany, marking a growth of 25-30% on yearly basis, as per the data from DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst). Maharashtra is contributing majorly to this particular trend, with an increasing share of students opting Germany for higher education and also this indicates the rising awareness and improved access to German language along with favourable procedures related to Visa. This particular trend is quite visible among students exploring undergraduate or postgraduate pathways across various streams such as arts, engineering, management and allied fields.
