In Meghalaya, 156 COVID 19 affected people recovered today taking the total number of recoveries to 1716 while 42 new cases were also reported bringing the total active cases to 1343.
Health Minister AL Hek informed media that out of the new cases 25 were from East Khasi Hills district, one from Ri-Bhoi, three from South West Garo Hills and 13 from West Garo Hills districts.
So far Meghalaya has detected a total of 3076 COVID 19 cases. Out of them, 1716 have recovered, 1343 are under treatment and 17 died.
