Acharya Shankar Prakatotsav ‘Ekatm Parv’ on Tuesday

Bhopal : Acharya Shankar Prakatotsav ‘Ekatm Parv’ will be celebrated on Tuesday by Acharya Shankar Sanskritik Ekta Nyas (Cultural Integration Trust). The programme will start at Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium at 6 pm under the chief hospitality of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and presided over by Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Junapithadhishwar Swami Awadheshanand Giri Maharaj. Tourism, Culture and Religious Trust and Endowment Minister Sushri Usha Thakur will be present. During this, respect will be given to the sanyas tradition and the academic world for giving momentum and loftiness to the eternal perpetual flow of Advaita Vedanta philosophy. Chief Chinmaya Mission Coimbatore Swamini Vimalananda Saraswati and Dr. Kanshi Ram, former professor of Hansraj College, Delhi University, will be honoured at the investiture ceremony.

            Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture and Trustee Secretary Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla informed that the Saraswat speech will be delivered by chief of Chinmay Mission Coimbatore Swamini Vimalanand Saraswati. Along with this, there will also be a convocation ceremony for the participants of Advait Jagran Camps held in the year 2023.

It is worth mentioning that the Acharya Shankar Cultural Integration Trust has been constituted under the state’s culture department to ‘enliven humanity with the life and philosophy of Acharya Shankar’, the ‘angel of Indian cultural unity’, the ardent spokesperson of Advaita philosophy and the reviver of Sanatan culture. A 108 feet tall multi-metal statue of Acharya Shankar, Shankar Museum and Acharya Shankar International Advaita Vedanta Sansthan are being set up at Omkareshwar under Punasa tehsil of Khandwa district by the trust. The name of this entire project has been fixed as ‘Ekatm Dham’. The aim is to make Omkareshwar a ‘Global Center for Oneness’.
