ASTRA- 2025 Covers Latest in Spine Surgery

Kochi: Aster Spine Centre organized ASTRA-2025 (Aster Spine Training and Research Assembly), a Continuing Medical Education (CME) and operative workshop focusing on Uniportal Interlaminar Endoscopy. The CME inaugurated by Dr. Nalanda Jayadev, CEO of Aster Medcity was attended by 100 doctors from various hospitals, providing a platform to discuss and learn about the latest technological advancements in the field of spine surgery.

Some of the key topics of discussion included Multilevel lumbar disc degenerative disease, advances in minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal endoscopy, and complication avoidance in endoscopic spine surgery. There was a hands-on training session for delegates on surgical simulator, to gain practical experience with new techniques.

The event was organized by Dr. Anoop Thomas and Dr. Anup P Nair, Senior Consultants in Neurospine Surgery, Aster Medcity and Dr. Renjith K.R, Consultant in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery from Aster Medcity.

During the CME, delegates evaluated Aster’s spine center, and its excellent clinical outcomes, which are a result of its technological advancements. These advancements provide patients with access to the latest and most effective treatment options available.
