BimaKavach Launches Bima Kendra, Reducing Insurance Admin Time for India’s Businesses by up to 80%

Bangalore : BimaKavach, India’s commercial insurance platform for businesses and MSMEs, has launched Bima Kendra, a self-service platform that gives businesses direct control over their commercial insurance, reducing their dependence on back-and-forth with insurers for every document, policy update or claim. Through Bima Kendra, the company aims to reduce policy servicing turnaround times by up to 80% as compared to the industry standard as it targets a client base of 50,000 businesses over the next three years, further advancing its vision of creating a more accessible, transparent and technology-driven commercial insurance ecosystem.

An internal analysis by BimaKavach found that businesses with multiple insurance policies contacted their Relationship Manager an average of 196 times in a single financial year. To address this, Bima Kendra brings the entire insurance lifecycle, from policy issuance and document management to claims, endorsements, renewals and payments, into a single dashboard. It enables businesses to view and manage all their insurance policies in one place, including those purchased through other brokers or insurers, reducing paperwork, eliminating fragmented records and simplifying insurance management beyond just policy purchase. BimaKavach is actively augmenting this experience with agentic AI capabilities, designed to make insurance management increasingly proactive and intelligent for businesses as the platform evolves.

Businesses managing multiple locations can also initiate property and fire insurance endorsements online, reducing administrative complexity and improving transparency. Beyond this, the platform addresses some of the most time-consuming insurance processes for businesses. Companies with Open Marine Policies can digitally submit shipment declarations through the dashboard in just three clicks, replacing manual spreadsheets and lengthy email exchanges.
