Kokrajhar: BTR chief executive member Pramod Boro officially Tuesday launched “Fin Rwdwmkhang Mission”, a flagship program of BTR govt at a ceremonial programme held at Bodofa Cultural complex in Kokrajhar.
The BTR chief executive member also presented a cheques of ₹ 24 lakh to 5 Cooperative Societies under the mission.
Fin Rwdwmkhang Mission is a flagship initiative of BTR govt aimed at giving effective rehabilitation & sustainable livelihood of ex-NDFB cadres, martyrs’ families & people affected by violence in BTR.
As part of the program, Laptops & Printers to Cluster Resource Centre Coordinators (CRCCs) were also distributed.
BTR CEM Pramod Boro also handed over a cheque of ₹10 Lakhs to Ranjana Saraniya, who was part of Indian Gold Medal winning team at the 4th Asian Kho-Kho Championship held at Tamulpur.
He has also distributed Appreciation Certificates to the best School Adoptees of Bodoland School Adoption programme and appointment letters to 6 employees of Barama, Gossaigaon and Koirabari Colleges.
BTC Speaker Kati Ram Baro, MLA Lawrence Islary, EMs Reo Reoa Narzihary, Ukil Mushahary, Dharma Narayan Das were among those present on the occasion.
