ROSELLE …Cherry’s Industrial Equipment (https://cherrysind.com), an engineering and manufacturing company dedicated to solving workflow and safety issues in the workplace, today announced the appointment of Krys Gago of Lemont, IL to the position of National Account Manager.
In this role, he will work to develop business for the company across a specific number of industries that Cherry’s serves, including beverage, furniture and home furnishings, grocery distribution, building materials, aerospace defense and military, and confections and candy.
Gago brings a strong sales background to his new role at Cherry’s. For the past six years, he was Sales Account Manager and Sales Executive for a Chicago area firm specializing in automation, and his role included selling components to manufacturing facilities and construction companies. His sales experience also includes selling construction materials and trucking services for a Chicago area business that caters to the construction industry. Gago is additionally a former real estate broker and sold residential properties for a national firm’s Chicago location.
He studied at Lewis University and Illinois State University. During his time at Lewis, Gago played college basketball, building upon his experience as a high school standout athlete on the regional basketball circuit in Chicago. These days, in his spare time, his interests include golfing and watching his sons play baseball.
He, his wife Shannon and sons Adrian and Andrew live in Lemont, which he describes as “a very historic community, with great schools and community activities.”
