This summer, Crossword Kids, in collaboration with Kalendar Experiences, brings an engaging and creative camp for children aged 5-12 years in Mumbai at Skycity Mall Borivali and Krishna Curve Crossword. Designed to blend fun with hands-on learning, the 7-day camp, from 4th May to 10th May, offers a diverse mix of art, craft, and experiential workshops that encourage creativity, exploration, and self-expression.
Day-wise Activities
Paint a Pot & Plant a Flower (4 May)
Children kick off the camp by painting their own pots and planting a flower, introducing them to basic gardening while nurturing creativity and responsibility.
Block Printing Workshop (5 May)
A tactile and artistic session where kids learn traditional block printing techniques, experimenting with patterns, colors, and fabric design.
Cake Jar Making Workshop (6 May)
A fun culinary activity where participants assemble their own cake jars, blending creativity with basic food crafting skills.
Water Marbling on Paper (7 May)
An immersive art experience where children create mesmerising marble patterns using floating paints, resulting in unique, fluid designs.
Tie-Dye Workshop (8 May)
Kids explore vibrant color combinations and folding techniques to create their own tie-dye fabric pieces, which are fun, messy, and highly expressive.
Painting with Fluid Art (9 May)
An abstract art session introducing fluid painting techniques, allowing children to experiment with colour flow and organic patterns.
Mini Garden Making (10 May)
The camp concludes with children designing their own mini gardens, combining creativity with a deeper appreciation for nature.
