One of the patients who suffered from vertigo, a condition that made it extremely difficult to lie flat for extended periods, posing a challenge for a conventional cataract surgery. With careful evaluation, customised positioning, and meticulous surgical planning, the clinical team successfully performed cataract surgery, enabling the patient to regain vision that had been severely impaired. This case demonstrated the hospital’s ability to adapt procedures to the patient’s unique medical needs, ensuring safe and effective outcomes.
Another patient, an 85 years old lady, suffered from a severe mature cataract and had been previously considered inoperable due to the complexity of her condition. Dr. Pavan V. Joshi and the surgical team carefully assessed her case and performed a delicate procedure, restoring her vision and independence. The successful surgery highlights the hospital’s commitment to combining advanced technology, surgical skill, and patient-centred care to achieve life-changing results.
The patients were invited as special guests at the event and were felicitated by the chief guest, Mr. Pratap Simha, in recognition of their journeys and the transformative impact of advanced eye care.
