FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) Signs MoU with National Productivity Council (NPC) to Promote Sustainability and “Waste to Wealth” Initiatives

New Delhi : The FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) the apex  body of business women in the country signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Productivity Council (NPC), an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, to collaborate on sustainability, green technologies, and community-driven development initiatives.

The MoU marks the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at promoting capacity building, circular economy practices, sustainability initiatives, exposure visits, international study delegations, and the implementation of various government programmes focused on productivity and sustainable development.

The MoU was signed by Ms Puja Garg, National President, FICCI Ladies Orgnaisation (FLO) and Mr. Shirish Paliwal, Additional Director General, National Productivity Council . Mr Ashutosh Makup , director NPC was present on the occasion.

“The collaboration comes at a particularly meaningful time as the world commemorated World Environment Day, reinforcing the growing global commitment to making sustainability an integral way of life rather than merely an aspiration.A key highlight of the partnership will be the promotion of grassroots “Waste to Wealth” initiatives aimed at empowering communities, encouraging responsible consumption, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for women across India.” Said Ms Puja Garg, National President, FICCI Ladies Organisation(FLO).

“By combining NPC’s technical expertise with FLO’s extensive national network, the partnership seeks to create meaningful impact, foster innovation, and contribute towards building a more productive, sustainable, and inclusive India.” Ms Garg Said.
