Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible continues to explore new challenges in Pushpa’s (Karuna Pandey) journey as she navigates the changing dynamics around her family and the people she cares about. In the upcoming track, Shanaya (Muskaan Bamne) takes on a completely new avatar as Sean to help Bapodra with his political campaign going to great lengths to keep her identity hidden.
As Bapodra does not approve of Shanaya, she has to disguise herself as a man and takes on the name Sean to help him with his campaign. From sporting loose trousers, a moustache, sunglasses and a hat to changing her voice and mannerisms, Muskaan Bamne had plenty to work on to get into this new avatar. She even observed men around her to understand certain mannerisms and practised her voice modulation. For Muskaan, experimenting with a completely different look and character has been a fun experience, especially as Shanaya is doing it with good intentions despite knowing that her actions may not be understood by everyone.
On getting into a male character, Muskaan Bamne shares, “Getting into Sean’s character was so much fun because I got to experiment with a completely different look and personality. I even observed my Chachu and brother to understand their mannerisms and practised my voice modulation to get the voice right. My look, from the clothes and moustache to the sunglasses and hat, really helped me get into the character. Playing such roles and trying something completely different is always exciting for me.”
