Thiruvananthapuram : In a major boost to Kerala’s education ecosystem, EdTech startup Resorcio has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaysia’s prestigious Lincoln University (ranked #638 in the QS World University Rankings). The agreement was officially signed on September 7, 2026, at the Lincoln University Campus in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The MoU was executed by Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, President and Vice Chancellor of Lincoln University, alongside Mr. Robins J. Alappatt, Co-founder and COO of Resorcio. The signing ceremony was attended by senior institutional leadership, including Prof. Datin Dr. Hafizah Che Hassan (Deputy Vice Chancellor, Lincoln University College), Dr. Midhunchakkaravarthy (Dean), and Dr. Vivekanandam Balasubramaniam (Deputy Dean).
This milestone initiative aims to elevate school education across the state by offering students and educators direct access to global academic standards, research opportunities, and international certifications, regardless of their affiliated board. The partnership provides a concrete framework for institutional interactions, faculty and staff exchanges, joint symposia, international training programs, conferences, and short courses with global credentials.
A cornerstone of the collaboration is a shared commitment to sustainability through joint projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs)—focusing specifically on environmental stewardship, social impact, inclusion, and good governance. Schools partnering with Resorcio will benefit from SDG-focused project mentorship and official international certifications issued directly by Lincoln University.
Beyond classroom learning, the alliance opens doors for global faculty development programs, doctoral research guidance for teachers, exchange of teaching expertise, and international student twinning initiatives. These include overseas industrial visits, cultural exchanges, and immersive learning experiences designed to position Kerala’s school community at the forefront of global education. “This partnership is structured to dismantle global boundaries for Kerala’s students and educators,” said Robins J.
