Greener Together: Fairmont Jaipur Celebrates Earth Day with a Thoughtful Plantation Initiative

Fairmont Jaipur organised a significant plantation drive in honour of Earth Day on 21 April 2026 at Kukas, Jaipur. The iconic luxury palace overlooking the Aravalli Hills marked the day by bringing together guests and colleagues to support a greener future. The initiative reiterated the hotel’s continued commitment to sustainability and responsible hospitality.

The plantation efforts were carried out within the hotel’s grounds, reflecting its core values of offering meaningful, community-led experiences while living in balance with nature.

Rajat Sethi, Cluster General Manager, Fairmont and Raffles Jaipur said, “Earth Day is a reminder of our shared responsibility towards nature. Guided by the theme ‘Our Power, Our Planet’, we continue to take small but meaningful steps that create a positive impact. Through initiatives such as our plantation drive, along with our ongoing focus on mindful practices, we aim to offer a refined guest experience while contributing to a better future for all”.

This commitment to sustainability is reflected across operations, including a reduction in plastic and food waste, the use of locally sourced ingredients, support for nearby farmers, and a preference for nature-friendly products in every aspect, from cleaning supplies to guest amenities, thus ensuring a refined guest experience while minimising overall impact.

Fairmont Jaipur offers thoughtful luxury, where heritage and guest experience come together through a mindful approach to create lasting value for both people and the planet.
