Kolkata : Haldia Petrochemicals Limited (HPL), one of India’s leading petrochemical companies, today announced key appointments to its senior leadership team, effective September 30, 2026.
Mr. Navanit Narayan, presently Whole-time Director & Chief Executive Officer of Haldia Petrochemicals Limited, has been appointed as Managing Director of the Company.
The Company has also appointed Mr. Kaushik Sarkar as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP). Mr. Sarkar is a senior finance and business leader with over 30 years of experience across leading organisations, including Bosch Global Software Technologies, AxisCades Engineering and Technologies Limited, Adobe, Oracle and Siemens. His experience spans Finance & Controlling, P&L Management, Strategic Planning, M&A, Investments, Business Operations and Digital Transformation.
Prior to joining Haldia Petrochemicals, he served as Senior Vice President, Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director at Bosch Global Software Technologies. A Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Cost & Management Accountant, Mr. Sarkar is also an alumnus of the Indian School of Business. He was recognised as CII CFO of the Year 2024-25 – Digital Transformation.
The appointments come as Haldia Petrochemicals continues to strengthen its leadership capabilities to support the Company’s strategic priorities and its next phase of growth.
