The Classics Manchette steps back into the spotlight. At Watches and Wonders in Geneva, this rebellious beauty stole the show. Clad in two new outfits, as much bracelet as timepiece, these new versions reassert the line’s rock-infused, irreverent personality.
The first new Manchette is dressed in gold tone, still adorned with the iconic Clou de Paris motif repeated to striking effect. Its vivid, radiant gleam plays with contrast against a bold turquoise mineral dial. Each dial is a unique piece. Sweeping across its surface are the two understated, minimalist hands from the Classics Manchette collection, subtly signed with their unmistakable calling card: “Frederique Constant – Genève”. The model follows in the footsteps of a big sister launched in 2025 with a malachite dial. Dressed in turquoise, the younger sibling dares a more playful pairing. Gold and turquoise tones meet and challenge one another at the centre of a Manchette that doesn’t shy away from the glamour of red carpets.
The second version offers a steel bracelet alternative, again showcasing the Clou de Paris motif. If the first model commands the spotlight, the second holds its own with a refreshing, resolutely spring-inspired variation. Delicately sunray-brushed, the mint-green dial reveals softer, cooler hues. This Classics Manchette is the companion to a more nuanced everyday style without relinquishing its glam spirit, its studded attire dancing at the wrist at the first twang of an electric guitar. Beware the fire beneath the ice: a few rising decibels are all it takes, like sun hitting the snow, to melt the seemingly demure soul of this Classics Manchette.
