Heritage Institute of Technology, an autonomous NAAC ‘A’ graded private engineering college declared by UGC and approved by AICTE signed an MoU with the Heartfulness Institute on 4th September to impart value education to the students based on humanitarian principles that will lead to the creation of caring minds that can shape up a just and humane society.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Rishabh Kothari, Trustee, The Heartfulness Education Trust and Prof. Basab Chaudhuri Principal, Heritage Institute of Technology in the presence of Shri Kamlesh Patel (Rev. Daaji), Shri H.K.Chaudhary, Chairman, Heritage Group of Institutions, Shri P.R.Agarwala, Chairman, Heritage Institute of Technology and Mr. Pradip Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata.
Earlier AICTE signed an MoU with the Heartfulness Institute to promote Emotional And Mental Wellness Learning among the students.
With the MoU coming into force, Guide of Heartfulness – Shri Kamlesh Patel (Daaji) said, “A calm mental frame of mind and tranquility can help out people achieve much more in life. The Heartfulness Education Trust will support all the places of study under the aegis of Heritage Institute of Technology in every possible way to provide the tools for the success.”

The signing of the MoU was followed by a Mass Meditation programme which was organized by the Heartfulness Institute on the same day at The Heritage campus that witnessed the presence of more than 1100 attendees from Bengal and Northern India.
The mass meditation programme was also attended by the trustees of Heritage Group of Institutions, Shri Sajjan Bhajanka, Shri H.P.Budhia, Shri Suresh Chand Bansal, Shri Sandeep Shah, Shri Vikas Agarwal, Smt. Madhu Dugar and others. Also the students, parents, well wishers, alumni, faculty members and staff of Heritage Group of Institutions attended the meditation programme.
The Program started with a Conversation with Daaji by Ms. Ruchika Gupta, President, Sanmarg Group, a leading Newspaper & Media entity.
During the Meditation programme, Rev. Daaji said, “Meditation helps us balance and regulate our lifestyle. It helps build emotional resilience and hence perform better at work. We improve our discretion and discernment, allowing us to make better decisions both personally and professionally.”
After the programme, the entire audience was energized. The programme made them understand and feel the inner peace within.
