Surat: HP Telecom India Limited (NSE: HPTL) today announced the appointment of Dr. Garima Mishra as its Chief Executive Officer, effective October 21, 2026. She will lead the company’s strategy, operations and growth agenda as it enters its next phase of expansion.
Dr. Mishra is a veteran-turned-business leader with more than 15 years of experience across defence, consumer goods and technology distribution. She began her career as an engineer in the Indian Air Force, serving for a decade in technical and operational roles. She then moved into corporate leadership, holding senior sales and commercial positions at Diageo and Pernod Ricard before leading the Apple business at Redington. She has also completed management programmes at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore and the Indian School of Business.
Throughout her career, Dr. Mishra has been known for a leadership style built on discipline, clarity of purpose and trust in people. Her years in the Air Force taught her to make sound decisions under pressure and to lead teams through complex, high-stakes situations. In business, she has applied that discipline to build high-performing sales organisations, strengthen channel and partner relationships, and turn data and analytics into growth.
Her work has been widely recognised. She has been featured among Forbes’ 40 Under 40, BW Businessworld 40 Under 40 and India’s Top 100 Influential Personalities 2024. She is also a recipient of the Stree Shakti Samma 2020 awarded by International United Educationists Fraternity.
At HP Telecom, Dr. Mishra will focus on accelerating the company’s growth by expanding its reach and deepening relationships with brand partners, customers and channel partners. She will strengthen sales and operations through better processes, data-driven decision-making and a sharper focus on customer experience. She will also build a performance-led culture by developing talent, empowering teams and encouraging accountability at every level, while strengthening governance to create long-term value for shareholders as the company scales.
