Hyderabad Hosts Global Real Estate Leadership as IREC 2026 Opens Doors to the World
NAR President, Global REALTORS®, International Investors, Policymakers and PropTech Leaders Converge in Hyderabad for India’s First IREC.
Hyderabad took centre stage in the global real estate conversation as the International Real Estate Conference (IREC) 2026 commenced at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, bringing together real estate leaders, investors, developers, policymakers, technology innovators and professional networks from across the world.
Being held from September 25–27, 2026, IREC 2026 marks the seventh edition of the International Real Estate Conference and the first time the global platform is being hosted in India. The three-day conference is expected to bring together 2,000+ industry leaders from more than 35 countries, with 75+ global speakers and 100+ exhibitors and technology companies participating across the programme.
IREC 2026 is awarded to NAR-India and is being operationally hosted in Hyderabad by the Hyderabad Realtors Association (HRA). The conference brings together three interconnected platforms, the Strategic Conference, Innovation Showcase and Luxury Property Expo, creating a common forum for global knowledge, investment, technology, property and professional collaboration. The event is being held under the theme “The Door to What Happens Next”, with the programme examining the forces that are reshaping real estate markets globally, including cross-border capital, changing investment patterns, artificial intelligence, PropTech and DeepTech, sustainable development, future cities, branded residences and the evolution of workspaces.
NAR President and global real estate leadership in Hyderabad
A key international highlight of IREC 2026 is the participation of Mr. Kevin Brown, President, National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), alongside leaders from NAR’s international partner associations and real estate organisations from around the world. The conference brings together developers, brokerage leaders, institutional investors, policymakers and technology founders representing established and emerging real estate markets.
The international participation provides Indian real estate professionals with an opportunity to engage directly with global market leaders on investment trends, professional networks, technology adoption, international business practices and evolving real estate models.
Mr. Sumanth Reddy Arani, Chairman, National Association of Realtors-India, said, “IREC 2026 marks an important milestone for Indian real estate. India has reached a stage where our developers, professionals and projects are increasingly operating at global standards. The next step is to build stronger international connections and create platforms that allow India to engage directly with global markets. Bringing IREC to Hyderabad is an opportunity to open those doors and position Indian real estate within a much larger global ecosystem.”
Hyderabad emerges as the meeting point for global capital and Indian opportunity
The choice of Hyderabad as the host city places one of India’s rapidly expanding real estate markets at the centre of a global industry dialogue. The city’s expanding technology and services ecosystem, growing business infrastructure, evolving urban landscape and increasing international connectivity provide the backdrop for discussions on the next phase of real estate development. IREC’s organizers describe Hyderabad as a market where technology-led growth, urban expansion, global business and real estate development are increasingly converging.
The conference therefore creates an opportunity for international participants to understand India’s real estate market while enabling Indian developers, professionals and businesses to access international networks and markets.
Mr. Shailender Singh, Chair, IREC 2026, said, “The idea behind IREC 2026 is simple, to create a platform that connects India with what is happening next in global real estate. The industry is undergoing significant change, driven by technology, capital, sustainability, changing consumer preferences and new approaches to urban development. IREC will bring these conversations together while creating meaningful opportunities for business and collaboration.”
Three platforms. One global real estate ecosystem.
IREC 2026 is designed to extend beyond a conventional conference through three integrated platforms. The Strategic Conference, being held on September 26 and 27, will feature plenaries, global panels, CEO roundtables, keynotes and more than 30 focused breakout sessions. Discussions will address issues including cross-border investment, the future of urbanism, sustainable development, India’s greenfield cities, branded residences, PropTech and DeepTech, real estate tokenization, artificial intelligence and the future of global workspaces.
The Innovation Showcase will bring together more than 100 technology companies, providing a platform to explore how AI, data intelligence, smart infrastructure, digital platforms and other technologies are changing the real estate value chain.
The Luxury Property Expo, which runs across all three days, will showcase opportunities across global, national and Hyderabad markets, connecting property businesses with prospective buyers, investors and professionals.
From conversations to commercial connections
A key component of IREC 2026 is its emphasis on facilitating direct business and professional connections. The conference features networking lounges, deal zones, peer-to-peer meetings and an in-app delegate network, enabling participants to identify and schedule meetings around markets, sectors and business interests. The platform is also intended to facilitate cross-border conversations around investment, professional referrals, technology partnerships and market access, particularly between Indian real estate businesses and international networks.
Dr. MSN Reddy, Chairman & Managing Director, MSN Group, said, “India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047 will be shaped by world-class cities and developments that match its growing aspirations. Hyderabad is well positioned to emerge as a leading global real estate destination. Our association with IREC India 2026 as Title Sponsor reflects this confidence.”
Real estate at the intersection of capital, technology and cities
IREC 2026 comes at a time when real estate is increasingly being influenced by developments beyond traditional property markets. Capital is becoming more globally mobile, technology is changing how projects are designed and transacted, and cities are being reshaped by new patterns of work, mobility and investment. Against this backdrop, IREC 2026 will provide a forum for stakeholders to examine how real estate businesses and markets can respond to these shifts. The conference will also provide Indian participants with access to international professional networks and global perspectives, while giving international delegates an opportunity to engage with India’s expanding real estate ecosystem.
Mr. Venkat Ramana Bandi, Head of Sales and Marketing, MSN Realty, said, “Real estate consultants are no longer just a sales channel. They are a vital part of the developer ecosystem. At MSN Realty, we value their market expertise, customer relationships and role in helping us grow through long-term, transparent partnerships.”
Three days of global real estate dialogue in Hyderabad
With the first IREC to be held in India now underway, Hyderabad will host three days of discussions, technology showcases, property opportunities and international networking. The programme includes the Curtain Raiser on September 25, the Strategic Conference and Innovation Showcase on September 26–27, the Luxury Property Expo throughout September 25–27 and the IREC Gala Night on September 26, bringing delegates together for further networking and engagement.
As IREC 2026 brings together professionals from more than 35 countries, the conference provides a platform for Indian and international stakeholders to exchange ideas, explore business opportunities and build relationships across markets. Hyderabad, for three days, becomes the meeting point for the people, capital and ideas shaping what comes next in global real estate.
