Mumbai / Dubai: As the global beauty industry moves beyond conventional anti-ageing narratives towards prevention and long-term skin health, Indian Skin Longevity brand Karmic Beauty brought its research-led, multi-pathway approach on skin biology to the Global Longevity Summit 2026 in Dubai.
Dr. Vaibhav Mittal, Founder & CEO, and Komal Mittal, Co-founder, Karmic Beauty participated in the panel “Beyond Anti-Aging: Regenerative Dermatology and the New Era of Skin Longevity,” focussing on skin barrier health, formulation science and building skin resilience.
The award-winning Skin Longevity brand is also bringing growing global attention to the Indian beauty segment, as the country’s science-led beauty ecosystem begins to enter conversations traditionally dominated by international brands.
The international conversation comes at a pivotal moment for India’s beauty and personal (BPC) market. According to Redseer Strategy Consultant, the market is projected to reach $40 billion by 2030, establishing the country as the fourth-largest BPC market globally.
From Anti-Aging to Skin Longevity
The shift towards preventive skincare mirrors a broader global movement. Research by McKinsey & Company reveals that over 80% of consumers globally consider wellness a top priority – with growing attention to longevity, prevention and sustained biological health.
However, as consumers become more informed about active ingredients, routine layering has created new consumer challenges. Karmic Beauty’s proprietary R&D platform, The Lab of Skin Longevity ™ analysed data across 12,000 consumer interactions and 10,000 product reviews. The findings revealed that over 65% of Indian respondents reported skin barrier sensitivity – directly associated with layering multiple single-actives without proper formulation synergy.
Commenting on the shift, Dr. Vaibhav Mittal, Founder & CEO, Karmic Beauty said: “The first wave of Indian D2C beauty was built around single-ingredient trends. Consumers were encouraged to focus on individual actives, often without understanding how different ingredients interact or what repeated use could mean for the skin barrier. We are moving from an ingredient economy to a biology economy. The question is no longer simply what ingredients are in a product, but what the formulation is trying to achieve within the biology of the skin. The next phase of the category will belong to formulation literacy and building long term resilience. “
Building for Biological Resilience & Global Impact
Rather than encouraging complex multi-step routines, Karmic Beauty’s R&D framework focuses on purposeful, multi-pathway formulations designed to counteract daily environmental exposure, UV radiation, and barrier depletion. The brand’s showcase in Dubai also initiated preliminary discussions with international healthcare and longevity specialists, exploring potential collaborative research on healthspan science and everyday skin health.
Through its presence in Dubai, Karmic Beauty aims to anchor a strong Indian perspective within the rapidly evolving global longevity ecosystem.
Dr. Mittal added: “India represents a significant opportunity not just to participate in the next global beauty category, but to help build it. We want Karmic Beauty to bring a science-led Indian point of view into an international conversation that is only beginning.”
The product proposition is also creating its own category conversations. Karmic Beauty’s Mattifying Hydra All-Day Cream is arguably the closest thing to wearing an “invisible anti-aging mask”.
Karmic Beauty’s Skin Longevity serum is making a case for a different approach to active skincare through multi-pathway skin longevity formulations rather than relying exclusively on acid-led routines.
The brand’s formulations also drew attention from international beauty and skincare professionals during its Dubai showcase. Dr. Hasia, Founder of Doctors Dose and a renowned aesthetic dermatologist in the UAE, highlighted the alcohol-free formulations and distinctive textures across the LONGÈVE BLEND™ range. Skincare educator Nipun Kapur Sohal was impressed by the silicone-free textures and the use of ingredient-rich bases such as rosemary water.
