Bengaluru: Pantherun Technologies has been named a finalist in the Santander X Global Challenge, The Quantum AI Leap, under the Scaleup category. The recognition also sees Pantherun joining Santander X 100, a global network of high-growth scaleups.
The global challenge recognises companies working on emerging applications across quantum technologies and artificial intelligence. Pantherun’s selection comes as businesses and governments are increasingly looking at how advances in quantum computing could affect existing cybersecurity and encryption systems.
Pantherun has developed a real-time, keyless encryption technology designed to protect data in motion without conventional key exchange. The company’s technology uses AES-256 encryption with dynamically changing encryption parameters and is designed for high-speed networks where security needs to be implemented without compromising performance.
Srinivas Shekar, Co-founder and CEO, Pantherun Technologies, said, “Being selected as a finalist in the Santander X Global Challenge is a significant milestone for us. As quantum computing advances, organisations need to start thinking about how they protect data against threats that may emerge in the coming years. At Pantherun, our focus has been on making strong, real-time encryption practical and easier to deploy across existing networks. This recognition gives us an opportunity to take that work to a wider global audience.”
Pantherun works across sectors including telecommunications, defence, financial services, and industrial networks, where secure and real-time transmission of data is critical.
